...the Ultimate Disney Blog

Being such an avid Disney fan as well as collecting memories on my Pandora Charm Bracelet, I wanted to combine the two. Knowing a trip to DLP was on the cards I began building a Disney themed bracelet using Pandora charms which could represent my love of the films and characters. By chance I also stumbled across the Disney range from Chamilia and purchased a couple of their charms. The detail was good, and I was pleased I had some specific Disney charms, but felt they were somehwat lacking compared to the quality of their rival Pandora charms.
Fast forward another six months and I was amazed to hear that Pandora had scored a ten (yes, 10!!!) year deal with Disney to manufacture charms. I was estatic - my two loves together: Disney plus Pandora, I was in heaven!! Or so I thought :( I soon heard that Pandora's alliance with Disney restricted them to selling the Disney charms in the US, Canada and Mexico only. It was relating to the licence Disney still have with Chamilia in the UK, which is understandable. Hopefully with a ten year deal, Disney and Pandora will hopefully be selling Disney charms worldwide in no time at all.
I dared to dream and soon my aim was clear - to somehow get the charms I wanted from the US to the UK where I live. After joining some forums on facebook I soon found a shipping service who would buy, pack, ship and deliver anything I wanted. So after a few days deciding I took the leap and sent some money via PayPal to a complete stranger, hoping, fingers crossed, that something would soon drop through my door.
Her service was fantastic and I was able to track my parcel from leaving her depot to delivery at my house, it was flawless. In just 10 days, I was now the owner of a Disney Pandora bracelet, Mickey Sorceror Hat and two Mickey swirl openworks - all park exclusives. I was so happy, and this set the ball rolling for another purchase. And then another.....well you can see where this is headed..........!
The Disney themed charms are beautiful and I do not think this new partnership could have done a better job than what they have done. I have deceided to share the photos of all the charms that have been released so far so that they can be appreciated in all of their glory. I cannot wait for the next releases over the next 10 years, as I'm sure they have some fantastic ideas. I just hope they make their way across the water and into stores in the UK pretty soon.
The first release of the Disney Pandora line hit the parks and some stores in October 2014, and soon left the shelves as quickly as they were put out. They were much more popular that people first anticipated, which lead to a lot of bulk buying and sellers advertising charms on sites such as eBay for inflated prices knowing some would pay it considering the likes of us UK folk had little chance to get our hands on these most sought after jewels.

March 2015 Release

October 2014 Release
The October release was soon followed up by a March release, seeing many more charms added to the collection. I have catalogued pictures of the charms by their realease and will continue to do so, to enable others to see how the collection grows over the next ten years.
