Selfie Sticks: Disney to Ban...?

Today I read that selfie sticks are to be banned from WDW. I don't know how true this rumour is but for now I thought I'd put my viewpoint on what is seeming to be a very negative view from the Disney forums I read. I visited DLP at Christmas and with us we had a selfie stick, and have to report that we had a blast using it.

Now health and safety is high up on my list of standards and believe used incorrectly, for instance on rides, they can be dangerous things, but for group shots, filming parades in huge crowds and just general silliness it was great!

Now, if only I could get a Minnie one like in the pic above...
